Medicine Buddha Retreat - March 26th thru 29th
Rigdzin Dharma Center is pleased to announce the return of Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin to Albuquerque March 26th. Khenpo will offer the empowerment and teachings of the sublime Medicine Buddha, lead our sangha in a deep-dive dharma discussion, and give a public talk on Compassion in Action.
Medicine Buddha (Sangye Menla) is revered as the Supreme Healer, embodying the curative energy of all enlightened beings. Through his great compassion, Medicine Buddha vowed to heal beings of all forms of illness, misfortune, and suffering. The benefits of his practice are thus profound, working to heal us on every level - mundane and ultimate - curing the very cause of suffering itself: the three poisons of ignorance, attachment, and aversion. Thus, Medicine Buddha practice provides a complete pathway to enlightenment.
Medicine Buddha's healing and compassion are deeply needed. Join us, for the benefit of all beings.

About Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin
Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin took his monk's vows at the age of 14. He studied the Thirteen Major Texts under Khenchen Nawang Gyalpo Rinpoche and other Khenpo's. He received the complete Lamdré-cycle of empowerments from Khensur Khenchen Rinpoche, as well as teachings from Amdo Lama Togden Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, including numerous Nyingma empowerments. Later, he joined the Drikung Kagyu Institute at Jangchub Ling in Dehra Dun, where he met His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche. His profound devotion prompted him to ask to remain at the monastery to further his studies.
Having completed four years at other monasteries, Khenpo Rinpoche quickly finished his education at Jangchub Ling. After three years of teaching in the monastic college, he was enthroned as a "Khenpo" in 1998 by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche. In April 2001, he arrived at the Tibetan Meditation Center (TMC) in Maryland to assist Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen Rinpoche and improve his English, later becoming co-spiritual director.
Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin Rinpoche is cherished for his engaging teaching style and humility.
