Kusali Chöd Teaching and Practice - May 1st - May 3rd
Venerable Drupon Palkyi returns to RigDzin Dharma to offer our sangha the rare opportunity to learn Kusali Chöd!
Chöd was created by the 11th-century realized yogini Machig Labdron. Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön, founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage, continued this profound teaching in the 12th century via the Kusali Chöd text.
The Kusali Chöd is translated as "Beggar's Banquet." The main purpose of this profound practice is to cut through self-grasping, the false concept of a self, to realize that we are not our bodies, and there is no “I.” HE Garchen Rinpoche has said that when there is no more grasping at the self, the mind becomes vast like space, and “That is Buddhahood.”
Ven. Drupon Palkyi will teach the meaning and practice of Kusali Chöd, which uses song, drumming, chanting, and visualization.
Please join this rare opportunity to learn Kusali Chöd!
