Green Tara Empowerment and Teachings
Ven. Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin returns to RigDzin Dharma to lead the sangha in our Autumn Retreat, topic: Exalted Mother Green Tara!
Green Tara is the great protector, the mother of all Taras, the embodiment of enlightened activity. Her activity is to protect us from fear and danger and to remove obstacles. The color green is associated with enlightened activity, wisdom, and compassion in action. As a bodhisattva, she is unconditionally present for us when we're feeling anxious, fearful, stuck, or filled with doubt.
Khenpo will bestow the Green Tara empowerment Saturday morning, Nov. 8, and give teachings on Green Tara and practice Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day.
Click here to download the practice text that Khenpo will use during the retreat.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, RigDzin will celebrate our 20 birthday with a pot luck and then hold a question and answer session afterwards with Khenpo.
Bring food and/or drink for all to share and your questions about practice for Khenpo to answer.
All are welcome!
